This haiku is written with our dinnertime ritual in mind. It’s a great time where my favorite people on earth get to connect. I asked the girls what makes them think of dinner. The haiku includes their responses. We always share what we are grateful for each dinner. Adelyn has the job as the “napkin girl” and Dominique has the job to set the table, though she often forgets the drink part of said job. And all of Adelyn’s life has included getting her to freaking finish her meal. The timer has been the most helpful strategy.
